What happened with your weather in the past week or so?

The weather in Galloway, NJ has finally started warming up. Now the snow has melted and we have had some sunny days. Unfortunately, it looks like the next few days are going to be very windy and rainy. We are looking forward to "sunshiney" spring days. Inside recess is not fun!

Below is a graph that we completed with the high and low temperature in our area. The temperatures were collected from www.weather.com.

Story: The kids thought today was a super fun school day! We used our time in the computer lab to create individual slides about today's weather. The computer lab teacher put each of the slides into PhotoStory and a few of the students narrated their slides. The classroom teachers took the kids outside to take some pictures on the playground. We have been experimenting with some different types of technology, so by Friday we will have a few of our final products posted here. Lastly, the kids celebrated St. Patty's day by wearing green and drinking shamrock shakes. Let's do this again "on the same day in March".

Play the video below to see each of the student slides about the weather on March 17th in Galloway Twp, NJ. Students created in MaxShow then narrated in Photostory.
